The GC ‘review’ of Akub was grotesque - not only in its content and tone (vicious, factually incorrect, contorted other journalists’ work to to support his own prejudices) - but deliberately designed to offend. A shocker. Worse, below-the-line commentators loved it.

Also good: Lao Gan Ma chilli black bean sauce. The absolute best in quick noodle dishes or dumpling dipping sauce.
