Congratulations!!! Very happy for you. My wife too is pregnant, and due very soon. I agree that it is often difficult to focus one's mind on the here and now and what you can control. In the face of so much barbarism and cruelty, especially with social media and the internet bombarding us with it constantly, no wonder so many are anxious and weary about the state of the world. In my work as a civil rights lawyer too, I have to make efforts to take care of myself for the long haul. There are very few things we can truly control in life, and they are all within arm's reach. Great article and hope to hear more soon.
